Table Policy

  • All reservations will be made through the Office of Meetings & Conferences
  • The number of tables allowed in each quarter of the concourse shall be:
  1. West Concourse (south end) = 4 tables
  2. West Concourse (north end) = 4 tables
  • The priority of who can reserve tables shall be:
  1. Student organizations
  2. Services for students
  3. Services for the UIC campus community
  4. Outside vendors (revenue generating)
  • Tables may not cover windows, bulletin boards or doors in the concourse.
  • Student Center tables must be used; users may not bring in their own tables.
  • Tables must stay in the exact position they were assigned and may not be moved.
  • Organizations or person tabling may not use more than the assigned number of tables issued to them.
  • Organizations/persons tabling may not “hawk”; that is, stand in front of their table speaking loudly or approaching UIC community members with information or speaking to them unless they are approached first.
  • Music or amplified microphones will not be aloud
